An agreement to cooperate in France has been signed confident that the campaign will be a success and lead to increased wood consumption in France.The campaign will start with a major publicity campaign all over France. An intense search to find the best advertising agency for the task is ongoing. A final decision will be made in the middle of May.

An architect with broad experience in wood promotion, has been appointed new campaign manager in France. Sh has previously worked for CNDB in France and prior to that for Arbeitsgemeinschaft Holz in Germany.

“ … seems to be a very dynamic organisation with people with different professional and cultural backgrounds, says Bettina Horsch. Working in an international team is very motivating for me. I wanted to continue working in the timber promotion sector so this was a perfect opportunity.”

Bettina is responsible for the Nordic part of the campaign and also managing the campaign working group. Her first day will be Monday 3 May.

“The campaign Le bois… cest essentiel! is certainly very ambitious, says Bettina Horsch. But together with the CNDB, our partner, we have a very competent team working on this project, and I am sure we will deliver a successful campaign that will attain its objectives: to increase the consumption of timber and timber products in France by 30 per cent by 2010.”
